Duane Ford is a 1967 graduate of Dickinson College and is a member of the 1965 Dickinson College Hall of Fame Football Team. He continued post graduate work at Temple University and Penn State University. Duane taught at Central Columbia High School from 1969-2003 and served as Social Studies Department Chairman for 30 years. As of 2014, 5 of his teams have been inducted into the Hall of Fame and the 2014 Softball Team automatically qualifies for the class of 2019. In addition, 13 of his players have been inducted. He is the only coach in Pennsylvania history to win State titles in 2 different sports and has a career coaching record of 1,389 wins at Central.

Jeff Giovino

Jeff Giovino

Jeff Giovino is a 1986 graduate. He was a three sport athlete, playing football, wrestling, and baseball. He was a member of the 1984 and 1986 Susquehanna Valley Conference Championship Football Team, and the 1984 and 1986 Eastern Conference Division Championship Football Team. Jeff was a member of the 1986 State Championship Wrestling Team. He was a 2 time Sectional Champion, 2 time District Champion, 2 time Regional Champion, and a 3 time state qualifier. He placed 4th at the State Wrestling Tournament his junior year and 3rd his senior year. Jeff ended his career with a record of 101 wins and 26 losses.

Jeff was a member of the 1983, 1984, and 1985 District IV Championship Baseball Team. Jeff was also on the team when they placed 4th in the state in 1985.

He currently lives in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.

Angie Klingerman

Angie Klingerman

Angie Klingerman is a 1998 graduate. She was a three sport athlete, playing field hockey, basketball, and softball. Angie was on the Mid Penn All Star Team for field hockey for 2 years. She was also the Press Enterprise Field Hockey All Star for 2 years. She holds the record for most goals scored in a hockey season with 19 goals and 6 assists. She was a multiple goal scorer in 15 of 21 games her senior year. She finished her field hockey varsity career with 43 goals and 15 assists.

Angie was a member of the 1995, 1997, and 1998 Mid Penn Championship Basketball Team, 1996 District IV AA Championship Team, and 1997 District IV AAA Championship Basketball Team. In 1997 and 1998, she was named to the Press Enterprise All Star Team. She was the 1997 and 1998 Mid Penn Basketball MVP. She holds the record for the most free throw attempts with 150. Angie scored 1, 128 points throughout her 4 years playing basketball at Central.

Angie was a member of the 1995, 1996, and 1998 Mid Penn League Championship Softball Team, and the 1995 and 1997 District IV AA Championship Team. In 1997, Angie was named to the Mid Penn 1st team All Star and the Press Enterprise All Star Team. Angie was the Mid Penn MVP and the Press Enterprise MVP in 1998.

After graduation, she attended the University of Maryland where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She was on the Dean's list, and was a Field Hockey Academic All American. She was a member of the University of Maryland Varsity Field Hockey Team when they were Atlantic Coast Conference Champions in 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001. Angie was a member of the NCAA Division I National Championship Team in 1999. She worked for Johnson Lambert & Co, a public accounting firm, in Virginia for 5 years. She earned a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Angie is currently working as a manager of Financial Reporting for Geisinger Health Plan in Danville. Angie currently lives in Danville, Pennsylvania.

Eric Wagner

Eric Wagner

Eric Wagner is a 1989 graduate. He was a three sport athlete, playing football, basketball, and baseball. Eric was a member of the 1989 Central Susquehanna Conference Championship Football Team, along with the 1989 Eastern Conference Division II Championship Football Team. Eric was on the 1989 Press Enterprise First Team, and the 1989 All Central Susquehanna Conference First Team. In basketball, he was named a member of the 1988-1989 Central Susquehanna Conference First Team, and the 1988-1989 Press Enterprise First Team. Eric was a member of the 1986, 1987, and 1989 Columbia County League Championship Baseball Team. He was on the 1988 and 1989 Columbia County First Team, and the 1988 and 1989 Press Enterprise First Team.

After graduating from Central Columbia High School, he attended Allegany Community College where he received an Associate Degree. He also attended Towson University, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree. Eric is the outside salesperson for Atlantic Forest Products, and the owner of Charles Village Pub in Towson, MD. He currently lives in Phoenix, Maryland with his wife, Melony, and children, Farah, Dallas, and Colton.

Mark Williams

Mark Williams

Mark Williams is a 1983 graduate. He was a three sport athlete, playing football, wrestling, and baseball during his career. Mark was a member of the 1981 Eastern Conference - South Division C-II football team, 1981 Eastern Conference Class C Championship Team, 1982 Susquehanna Valley Conference - AA team, and 1982 Eastern Conference - South Division C Team. He was all anthracite linebacker in 1981 and 1982.

Mark was sectional champion in wrestling, and placed 5th at the State Tournament. He ended his wrestling career with 56 wins and 30 losses. In 1982 and 1983, Mark was named All Conference Wrestler and Sectional Outstanding Wrestler.

Throughout his career, he was a member of the 1980 Columbia County League Championship Baseball Team, 1980 District IV PIAA Championship Team, and 1983 District IV PIAA Championship Team. In 1983, he was named Outstanding Male Senior Athlete.

After graduation, he attended Bloomsburg University where he lettered in both football and wrestling. He continued his education at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is the founder of the Susquehanna Orthopedic Associates. In 2000, he formed Susquehanna Valley Medical Specialties and the Susquehanna Surgery Center. Mark currently lives in Orangeville, and he has two sons, Evan and Blaise.

Ty Williams

Ty Williams

Ty Williams was a three sport athlete, playing football, wrestling, and track. Ty was a member of the 1986 and 1987 PIAA State Championship Wrestling Team. He was a 3 time Sectional Champion, 3 time District Champion, and a 3 time Regional Champion. Ty placed 6th and 2nd at the State Wrestling Tournament. He had a 33-2 record his senior year. At the end of his senior season, Ty had a career record of 106 wins, 27 losses, and 2 ties.

After graduation, he attended North Carolina State University. He was a 4 year starter on the wrestling team, and had a 82-46 record. Ty was a 3 time Atlantic Coast Conference Place Winner. Since 1992, Ty has been the owner and operator of Bassets Restaurant. He is the administrator of the Susquehanna Valley Medical Specialties and the Susquehanna Surgery Center. Ty currently lives in Orangeville with his wife, Brenda.

1982 Track Girls

1982 Track Girls

The 1982 Girls Track Team coached by Joe Kelly was the first track team to win a district championship in Central Columbia history. The track team completed the year with a 12-0 record. On June 1, the team won districts. The 3200 meter relay team, Laurie Curtis, Lisa Neiderhiser, and Autumn Kemler all won District medals. Kim Karnes finished third in the triple jump, third in the 400 and ran in two relays. Barb Boyer, Lisa Shultz, and Amy Cole also picked up points.

The team members were Meredith Cleaver, Autumn Kemler, Kathy Kitta, Lori Mowery, Lisa Neiderhiser, Diann Rupert, Kristi Shaffer, Becky Walker, Laurinda Curtis, Barbara Davis, Jean Dobson, Mary Ann Horn, Kimberly Karns, Melanie Mills, Lisa Shultz, Melinda Swank, Vicki Bittner, Michelle Hinds, Catherine Stroud, Barbara Boyer, Amy Cole, Stacy Moyle, Jodi Parcell, and Carolyn Price.
