Tim Delp

Tim Delp

Tim Delp, class of 1982, participated in swimming during his time at Central Columbia. He was Central Columbia's first All-State swimmer. He still holds the record for the 200 Freestyle which he set in 1981 with a time of 1:46.16. No other record, boys or girls, is more than six years old other than Tim's.

Stu Hartman

Stu Hartman

Stu Hartman, Class of 1993, was a three sport athlete, participating in football, wrestling, and baseball. In wrestling, Stu was a two time Sectional Champion and the District and Regional Champion in 1993. Stu was a member of the 1990 football team that won the Central Susquehanna League Championship, the Eastern Conference Southern Division Championship during the years 1990-92, and the District IV Championship in 1992. During his baseball career, his team won the District IV Championship three times and in 1991 they were state champions. In 1999, Stu graduated from the University School of Chiropractic with honors, then owned and operated Open Hart Chiropractic Center and now, is the present-owner and operator of Catawissa Chiropractic Center. He is married to Erin Hartman and they have a daughter, Olivia.

Christopher Haupt

Christopher Haupt

Christopher Haupt, Class of 2005, was a three sport athlete, participating in Football, Basketball and Baseball during his time at Central Columbia. In baseball, Chris was a member of the 2004 Mid-Penn First Team and American League East- West All-Star Team. In 2005, he was a member of the Press Enterprise first team as well as an All-State Catcher. He received the Four Year Letter Award in 2005. In basketball, Chris was a two time first team defensive player in the Central Susquehanna Conference. In football, he received the Offensive MVP Award in both 2003 and 2004. He also was a Second Team All-Star selection as a Quarterback in the Central Susquehanna Conference in 2004. Chris is the career passing leader with 3,364 yards for Central Columbia. After high school in 2005, Chris was drafted and signed with the Florida Marlins as a catcher. In 2006, he was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays (Double A ball club-The Auburn Doubledays) and received the Catcher of the Year Award with the Auburn Doubledays, while his team won the New York Penn League in 2007. Chris graduated from Widener University where he was a four year starter on the football team. Chris's team won the ECAC South Atlantic Championship in 2011 and was the ECAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2012. Chris was a two time All-American, a Gagliardi Trophy finalist and the Outstanding Division III Player of the Year. His team won the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship in 2012. Chris worked at Continental Tide Defense Systems as an Engineer in 2013 and is presently the QB's/Pass Coordinator for Seton Hill University.

Lori Neyhard

Lori Neyhard

Lori Neyhard, Class of 2007, was a three sport athlete, playing Field Hockey, Basketball and Softball all four years at Central Columbia. In basketball, Lori's team was the 2005-06, 2006-07 Mid-Penn Champions, 2006-07 District IV Runner Up and the PIAA Eastern Quarter Finalists. In 2005-06, the basketball team's record was 17-1 in the league and 21-5 overall. Lori was a Mid-Penn First Team All-Star in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. Single season record for offensive rebounds (147) and averaged 10.2 rebounds per game during the 2005-06 season. Lori obtained new school records by scoring 529 points, grabbing 307 rebounds, 151 made free throws, 186-2 pt. goals during the 2006-2007 season. During her career she accumulated 1,023 rebounds, creating a new school record. She received the PIAA District IV Outstanding Female Athlete Award in 2006-07. In softball, Lori was a member of the team that captured the Mid-Penn Championship in 2004-05 and in 2006 were District IV Runners Up. In 2006, they had an undefeated season with a record of 19-0. Lori was Central Columbia's Softball Rookie of the Year in 2004, a Mid-Penn First Team All-Star in 2005, 2006, and 2007 and a Mid-Penn Player of the Year in 2006. After high school, Lori attended Bloomsburg University and earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She earned Dean's List status and received the Bloomsburg University Scholar Athlete Award in 2008 through 2011. She was a College National Fastpitch Coaches Association All American Scholar Athlete in 2011 and in 2010 was a part of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship Team. Also in 2010, her team went to DII college softball World Series and placed fifth. She works full time as a special education teacher and is the Head Softball Coach in the Benton Area School District. In 2014, Lori was inducted into the District IV Softball Hall of Fame.

Cliffton Toledo

Cliffton Toledo

Cliffton Toledo, Class of 2008, excelled in Track and Field. He claimed first place in the 100, 200, and 400 meter relay at the Susquehanna Valley Conference Championship. Cliffton placed first at the District IV and PIAA State Championships in the 100 and 200 meter dash. He was a two-time PIAA State All-Star Team selection. He holds records in the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, and the 400 meter relay at Central Columbia. Cliffton was a three time Susquehanna Valley Conference League All-Star Team selection, the Gatorade Rookie of the Year, the Press Enterprise Spring Sport MVP, the Mansfield Invitational Outstanding Male Athlete, and the Susquehanna Valley Conference League Outstanding Male Athlete. He currently works at Consolidated Container.

2002 Boys Track and Field Team

2002 Boys Track and Field Team

The 2002 Boys Track and Field Team captured the Susquehanna Valley League Championship, Mansfield University Invitational Championship, Purple and White Relay Championship, Lock Haven University Invitational Championship, Coudersport Invitational Championship and the District IV Championship. The District IV Championship at the time was the first and to this day the only Boys Track and Field District IV Championship. This team accumulated 171 District IV meet points and still holds today the largest win margin in a District IV Championship Track and Field meet. This team completed an undefeated (8-0) regular dual meet season with an average win margin of over 40 points per meet as well as outscored their opponents throughout the year in each of the 18 events. While winning the District IV title, six individuals were crowned champions, while many were district place winners. The team had 76 student-athletes many of which were multi-sport athletes that continued the competitive spirit into the collegiate level. The 2002 Boys Track and Field Team was coached by Head Coach, Doug Brown and assisted by Barry Lee.
