Inductees to the Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2022

Craig Mensinger

Craig Mensinger graduated from Central Columbia in 1973, he was a multi-sport varsity athlete at Central Columbia, earning letters in baseball, basketball, football, and bowling. While participating in athletics at Central Columbia, Craig had the good fortune to be coached by his father Claire Mensinger, Don Engle, Duane Ford, Jerry Devlin, and Richard Michael. Craig was the team captain his senior year for the following sports: football, baseball, and basketball. He was a first team All-Star selection during his senior year in basketball as well as baseball. Craig was part of the 1973 District IV baseball championship team. Craig was also team captain for the Bloomsburg University Husky Baseball team during his junior and senior year. He was member of the 1978 Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship in baseball while competing at Bloomsburg University. Craig graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education and spent the next forty years teaching business management and coaching basketball and baseball at Ocean City School District located in Ocean View, NJ until retiring in 2018.

Steve Crawford

Steve Crawford is a 1984 graduate of Central Columbia where he was an outstanding two-sport athlete. Steve excelled in basketball as well as track & field. He earned numerous varsity letters in four years of athletics here at Central Columbia. During his athletic career he was four-year started in both of his sports. In 184, Steve earned District IV medals in track and field in the high jump as well as the high hurdles. Steve was a dominant basketball player during his high school career where he was an outstanding 1,000-point scorer for the basketball team. He was an inspiring athlete to his teammates as well as younger individuals. Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business from Lycoming College and his Master's-Degree in Environmental Pollution Control from the Pennsylvania State University. Currently, Steve is the President of G&M Crawford Company and the Central Columbia School Board President.

Alissa Dewalt-Tobias

Alissa Dewalt-Tobias graduated in 2011 where she earned 12 varsity letters while competing in three sports: soccer, basketball, and softball during her four-year athletic career at Central Columbia. Alissa was a member of the 2011 Class AA District IV third place basketball team, 2008 Mid-Penn League Champions in softball, 2009 PHAC Conference, District IV AA Champions, and PIAA State semi-finalist softball team, 2010 PHAC Champions, District IV AA runner-up, and PIAA State semi-finalist softball team and in 2011 PHAC Champions, District IV AA Champions and PIAA quarter finalist softball team. Alissa was a three-time PHAC all-star in softball, a three-time PHAC all-star in basketball, was selected to the district IV senior all-star team in softball and was named the 2011 District IV outstanding female athlete of the year. Alissa demonstrated great work ethic and determination to accomplish her goals as well as strived to assist her fellow teammates in reaching their goals as well. Alissa attended Bloomsburg University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education as well as earned a master’s degree in Education from Edinboro University. Alissa is currently a second-grade teacher at Central Columbia Elementary School

Eric McCracken

Eric McCracken graduated in 2013 and was a varsity letter winner in football and wrestling. In 2012, Eric was a member of the PHAC Conference Championship football team where he started at linebacker and running back. Also in 2012, Eric was a member of the District IV Championship Wrestling Team. He was also a District IV champion in wrestling in 2011 and 2012. Eric was also an East Central Sectional Champion in wrestling in 2011, 2012, and 2013. Eric complied a wrestling career record of 119-36. For his efforts in both sports, he was named to the first team all-conference as a linebacker and second team all-conference as a running back. Eric was also selected as a participant for the district IV all-star football game and was named to WNEP’s sweet 16 dream team. Eric attended Bloomsburg University where he earned a degree in Business Management as well as played four years for the Bloomsburg University Football Team where he earned the Don Hansen Second Team All Super Region One as a fullback. Eric is currently employed with the Steve Shannon Tire Company as a retread plant manager.

Lindsey Carl

Lindsey Carl graduated in 2015 and was a varsity letter winner in Cross Country, Field Hockey, Basketball and Girls Track and Field for four years where she excelled in each sport. Lindsey was a three-time PHAC high jump champion, three-time district IV high jump champion and a three-time medal winner at the PIAA State Track & Field Championships. She also was a district IV medal winner in the discus. She was the 2015 district IV track and field MVP, a PHAC first team all-star selection three years. Lindsey holds numerous records in the high jump, shot put, and discus at numerous local invitations as well as at Central Columbia. In 2015, she earned the honor of being named a 1,000-point scorer in the girls’ basketball program. Lindsey competed at the post-secondary level in which she achieved the CACC high jump championship her junior and senior year. CACC rookie of the year award, named to the first team all-conference team twice, and was named track & field MVP twice. Lindsey was a multiple student/athlete award winner as well as an Academic Honors student. Lindsey earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Physician Assistant studies from Philadelphia University. While at Philadelphia University she earned academic and athletic achievement awards for her dedication and determination to succeed. Currently, Lindsey resides in Chicago, IL and is a physician assistant in psychiatry.
