He then received his Master's Degree in Psychology from Marywood University in 2005 followed by earning an Educational Specialist - Secondary Guidance Counselor Certification in 2010. Jason has taught General Psychology, Life Span Psychology, Adolescent Psychology, and Child Development at Wilkes University, Luzerne County Community College, and Bloomsburg University.

Ms. Flick is a former Central Columbia graduate and a 2008 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.  She continued her education at Marywood University, earning her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2010. Ms. Flick is currently employed by CMSU as a Prevention Specialist and has been contracted at Central Columbia School District since 2011.  Ms. Flick provides prevention services to Central Columbia students in grades K-12, and helps to link families to resources within the community.  Ms. Flick also serves on the SAP team in the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.

Chief Murtin graduated with a bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Affairs from the University of Scranton.  He went on to a 27-year career in the Pennsylvania State Police, achieving the rank of Captain while also attending and graduating from the FBI National Academy prior to retiring in 2010. He then served as Director of Security at the PPL Susquehanna Nuclear Plant in Berwick until 2012.  Murtin became Chief of Police at Central Columbia when the school police force was originated in 2018, and District Attendance Officer in 2019. He has served on the Student Assistant Program since 2013.  Murtin is also currently the assistant varsity and JV coach for the CCHS girls' basketball team.

Mr. Christian Tloczynski

Mr. Tloczynski graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2015 with a dual Bachelors Degree in Psychology and History. He received his Masters of Education Degree in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling Psychology from Penn State University in 2019, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. Mr. Tloczynski previously worked for Penn State University's Psychological Clinic and CEDAR Clinic as a Staff Therapist, and for Penn State's NCAA Morgan Academic Center as an Academic and Social-Emotional Mentor for student athletes. Most recently, Mr. Tloczynski worked as a Pediatric Psychology Specialist for Geisinger Medical Center's Primary Care Behavioral Health department at Woodbine Health Complex. He became Central Columbia's district-wide Mental Health Counselor during the 2022-2023 school year.
