Members of the Central Columbia FFA Chapter, in conjunction with their enrollment in the Agricultural Science II class, participated in community service work in which the class cleaned saddles for Eos Therapeutic Riding Center located in Buckhorn, PA. The FFA Chapter has been participating in this partnership with Eos for this event for many years. Students learn how to clean, repair and renew tools in the course unit, "Tool Reconditioning" and then apply their learned skill with the saddles. Great job by the Agricultural Science II course in volunteering in this event to assist a great non-profit organization in our area.

eosHere in the front is Kiernan Craig and in the back is Nadia Flook both are working on applying saddle soap and Neat's foot oil to saddles owed by Eos Riding Center. This event occurs during the winter prior to the Spring Riding Season.
